Launch edition · The Anthracite Region
On the nation's 250th, the county comes online.
In honor of the United States turning 250, Schuylkill Hub is officially launched — a single, sourced front door to every town's events, history, businesses, and food across Pottsville and Schuylkill County.

A note on the occasion
Two hundred fifty years on, the county gets its record.
The republic marks its 250th this Fourth of July. We could think of no better day to open the doors. Schuylkill Hub gathers what was scattered — the calendar, the mine maps, the storefronts, the family lines — and keeps it in one place, sourced and easy to cite.
Built for the people who live in the hard-coal country, and for everyone tracing their way back to it. The first 250 years are written. The next ones start here.
What's live today
Five ways into the county.
Each one threads back to the towns — so a place, its history, and its storefronts all sit in the same view.

About the project
Built to keep — for the next 250 years.
Schuylkill Hub keeps the county current and keeps it in memory — a place where a Friday night out and a century-old mine map live side by side. Open, sourced, and made for the long haul.
