State Game Land 80 stretches along the Blue Mountain across Schuylkill, Berks, and Lebanon Counties, reaching into the Pine Grove, Washington, and Wayne Township areas on the Schuylkill side. The Game Commission’s current figure is 11,252 acres — an older single-feature record listed 2,545 — and the tract is roughly 99% forested ridge running from about 700 to 1,700 feet.
Hunters in WMU 4C take deer, black bear, turkey, ruffed grouse, rabbits, squirrels, and furbearers here. Seven public parking areas open off SR 501 and SR 183, and the Appalachian Trail runs about eight miles along the ridge. Season dates, bag limits, antlerless allocations, and Sunday-hunting days are set each year by the Pennsylvania Game Commission — confirm the current year before you hunt.
