State Game Land 211 spans Schuylkill, Dauphin, and Lebanon Counties as wooded ridge-and-valley terrain in St. Anthony’s Wilderness and Stony Valley; the Schuylkill portion is the far eastern end near Tower City, in the Porter and Reilly Township areas. Hunters in WMU 4C take deer, squirrel, ruffed grouse, turkey, and bear. Numerous parking areas line the valley accesses, an abandoned railroad grade runs the valley east–west, and the Appalachian Trail and Horse-Shoe Trail provide access; a public shooting range sits on the Dauphin-County portion near Halifax. Season dates, bag limits, antlerless allocations, and Sunday-hunting days are set each year by the Pennsylvania Game Commission — confirm the current year before you hunt.
