State Game Land 106 spans Schuylkill, Berks, and Lehigh Counties, reaching the East Brunswick and West Brunswick Township areas on the Schuylkill side. It covers 9,720.847 acres of forested Blue Mountain ridge with Schuylkill River bottom, ranging from about 500 to 1,600 feet.
Hunters in WMU 4C take deer, black bear, turkey, ruffed grouse, rabbits, pheasants, squirrels, waterfowl, and furbearers. Eight parking areas serve the land, and a public shooting range sits near Eckville on the Berks-County side (a PGC range permit or hunting license is required); the Appalachian Trail corridor crosses it. This is the same ridge as Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, but this land is open to hunting. Season dates, bag limits, antlerless allocations, and Sunday-hunting days are set each year by the Pennsylvania Game Commission — confirm the current year before you hunt.
