Organized around 1885 and chartered in 1887, the West End Hose Company No. 7 serves the west side of Pottsville from Station 50 at 1217 West Market Street.

The West End Hose Company No. 7 was organized around 1885, by tradition when nineteen men met at the home of Samuel Rosenberger, and was formally chartered on May 23, 1887. Its first quarters were in the vacant Wren store on North Tenth Street; today it operates as Station 50 from 1217 West Market Street, running Ladder 51 and serving the west side of the city as part of the Pottsville Bureau of Fire.
